Shire Community ServicesCentral Darling Shire Council encompasses four towns, being Wilcannia, Ivanhoe, Menindee and White Cliffs. There are also several villages including Sunset Strip and Tilpa. The area of the Shire is over 53,000 sq klms, but the popluation is only approximately 2,600. Therefore most Community Services are run by Section 355 Committees of Council, e.g. Community Halls, Swimming Pools, Commons and Saleyards. |
